We met producers Hannah Rosenthal and Taylor Norton at our February workshop presentation and we are excited that they have come on board to produce our next workshop! We are currently researching venues (and working on a LOT of re-writes) and hoping to launch a workshop with a full design process this fall. Stay tuned for details and in the meantime, listen to our rockin' demo tracks: https://soundcloud.com/thecainandabelproject/sets/the-cain-and-abel-project.
Next up I'm excited to be re-joining forces with my UCSD classmate David Jacobi to collaborate on a new solo play, WORLD TREE. WORLD TREE will feature original music by Tommy Crawford, who will also perform the piece. The first workshop of this piece will be presented in Philadelphia in June, details to come.
I'm very excited to be working with the talented students at NYU Tisch on the first collaboration between the Drama and Dramatic Writing Departments. I will be directing two student written plays LEFT OF CENTER by Ife Olujobi and THE GAME OF LOST THINGS by Jessica Fleitman as part of a larger evening of new plays titled PlayGround. The production will be at the Burrows Theater April 28 - May 1.

We're very excited to be launching The Cain & Abel Project with our first workshop at the beautiful Dragon's Egg Studio in Mystic, Ct. Choreographer Laura Brandel will be joining the creative team for this first workshop, along with a diverse group of actors. On the retreat we're focusing on developing characters, creating a specific movement vocabulary for the piece and working with the first bits of songs and text from our writing team. We'll be up at the Egg May 6 - May 9th, 2015.
